The OilPaw line of sensors is specifically designed to detect the physical presence of hydrocarbons in all conditions and all locations. Water proof, shock proof, and vibration proof.

These oil leak sensors alarm after coming into physical contact with hydrocarbons: as little as 3 drops! Can be used in locations that are subject to water (rain, snow, ice, etc..) and will NOT alarm on contact with water.

OilPaw Leak Detection Console (OP-LDC)

The OilPaw Leak Detection Console (OP-LDC) is a self contained waterproof enclosure, that provides power to and reports alarms from the OP-40 line of hydrocarbon leak sensors.

We custom build each OP-LDC specific to customer requirements and environmental conditions. In many cases, the console has a bright green LED light that indicates the system is monitoring. When hydrocarbons are detected, a flashing red LED illuminates and a loud alarm (96db) sounds. This alarm can only be silenced by opening up the lockable box and pushing a reset button or by entering a security code into the HMI. 

  • The console is normally equipped with an HMI so that local operators can conveniently monitor sensor conditions and system status.
  • Integration into SCADA systems or company alarms can easily be accomplished with data files or data tags, with up to the second reporting frequency.
  • The OP-LDC can easily be powered by battery or solar power for remote areas or for areas where power supply is interrupted.

You have instant live monitoring of the status of the OilPaw sensors: 24 hours a day & 365 days a year. You can even check your dashboard from your mobile device. Simple and efficient.

If a hydrocarbon leak happens, the system will automatically send text messages and/or emails, to pre-determined numbers and notify you electronically on the map based dashboard : all in real time.
